Guess who reached her goal weight?

This biatch right here!

Almost one year to the day I hit 135.
I’ve now switched my goals to be more health based and less rooted in just losing weight.  2014 will see me get stronger, quicker, fitter, slimmer… I’m excited :)

Before/after pics later…

So, I basically don’t know what to say anymore. This is my fifth day of the 30 Day Shred and my 29th day of being healthy alltogether. I started out with a weight of 178lbs and am now 164lbs. On the scale I haven’t lost THAT much but when I look at my body it is like looking at a different person already. My skin is clearing, my body is toning, I am losing fat even though I have my weak days and that my scale isn’t changing from day to day (of course not). Here is where I see progress: my arms slimmed down, my stomach (SO MUCH WEIGHTLOSS ON MY BELLY, CAN’T BELIEVE IT!), my ass that basically got … much, much better. And my legs look at least a little musclier (I don’t see that much of a difference there, but well.) But the finest progress for me are my shoulders. I finally can use my back again and my posture is getting better and better. I still got such a long way to go, but I am so positive that I can reach my goals.
Sorry by the way for all the progress pictures, it just keeps me so motivated and builds me up when I am down! Now that I see what I can achieve in a month, I can’t wait for my after-pictures three months ahead from now. Excited!

Still here…ish…

It seems that just like writing down my foods daily, I blog for awhile then take a good break.
Progress is slow and steady. I love my new gym still and while I haven’t gone as often as I’d like (tougher than I thought with two kiddos and my hubby’s work schedule) I’m still getting in there and busting my butt! This morning I weighed in at 157… so I’m down abooout 20 lbs from Thanksgiving. I’ll take it! I’m still working towards my goal (and my old clothes) and need to work on portion control/binge eating some. Still haven’t had pop or fast food :) and I really don’t miss either!

Had a great workout this AM (HIIT like a mutha!) Now time to get the kid from school :) it’s 35° out- sunroof is open and window is down. I’m such a Michigander.

Goooo me!

Two days ago I ran a mile without stopping. This is BIG for me. Prior to that I could only run about 3/10 of a mile before I’d slow down for a bit, then I’d do that over and over. So today, after incline training for half a mile, I ran two miles! I doubled my best I set two days ago! Clearly I am the only thing holding me back. After a mile and a half today I thought about giving up- I began a cool down- but sped it back up to 5.5 (I run at an incline of 1.5-2.5) and finished doing two miles! I’m so proud of myself. I really can’t wait to fit in my old clothing again :)

Lazybones

I haven’t been doing what I should. I stop, I start, I stop.

I got back on myfitnesspal today. It’s funny how as soon as I keep track of what I eat, I eat less. Working out in the AM at my new gym with my sister, and I’ve got an appt with a personal trainer on Wednesday. My goal is to fit in my old clothes in 96 days.

I can do this. I will do this!
